Printable Bubble Letters

Printable Bubble Letters
These are FREE!!! (a teacher's favorite four letter word!)

This site has a couple of different styles of free printable letters big enough to use on a bulletin board. I also have my "good choice makers" help me color and cut them and they love it!

Shoot for the Moon!

"Shoot for the Moon.
Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars"

I would probably put my students names on the stars for a large board, or do this on a smaller scale as a motivational tidbit in my classroom.

Wel-Gum to "..." Grade!

Welgum to Fifth Grade!

Another  gum ball machine idea!

You fit Right In!

Another great beginning-of-the-year idea!

Proud Wall & Stellar Spellers

Love this idea! Create a "Proud Wall" in your classroom and the students are able to choose what they want to go up there. Whether they choose a test, a picture, or a piece of writing, they have ownership over their choice.

I have a "Stellar Speller" board in my classroom where I post each student's test who scored a 'B' or above on that weeks Spelling test.

Must have!

This has nothing to do with Bulletin Boards, but I'm pretty sure I MUST have it!

Bright Future

LOVE this idea!
As we know, kids love seeing their pictures in the hallway.
Take a picture of each of your students in a pair of sunglasses!

Arrrrr you Ready?

Who doesn't love a pirate theme?!

Great Website!

This site has TONS of bulletin board ideas all in one place! They're organized by month, season, grade, and subject. Lots of cute, creative ideas!

Look Whooo's in our Classroom

This is a cute welcome board or door idea.
I'm in LOVE with owls right now!

Looks like she just used different scrapbook paper and wrote each student's name on an owl and Voila!

End of Year Bulletin Board

WRAPPING UP 5TH GRADE
I wasn't completely in love with this board, but the idea could be SUPER cute.
  • You could use ANY print/color of wrapping paper as your background (this was from the dollar store).
  • I drew the gifts (in two sizes) on a piece of white copy paper with a black sharpie, then copied it on colored paper.
  • Each "box" on the gift was filled out by the students describing:
    • What they liked best about fifth grade (or the grade they're completing)
    • What they will miss most (the teacher, of course!)
    • What they're looking forward to in 6th grade (or the grade they're going into)
    • and What they're most excited to do over the summer

Earth Day Bulletin Board

The World is in Our Hands
  • I started off by taking a picture of each of my students holding an inflatable globe. Students LOVE seeing themselves in the hallway :)
    • I used my iPhone to take the pictures and then a free editing app to add the white border around each photo.
  • Next, as an art project, we used coffee filters to make our Earth. This was SUPER easy! Students just scribble on the filter in green and blue washable markers (or any colors if they so choose). Then you spray the filter with a water bottle (make sure it's on mist!). The water spreads the marker for a really cool watercolor effect!
  • Lastly, I found an Earth Day Pledge bookmark template. I had the students fill these out, color them, and then I laminated it for them to use once I took the bulletin board down.

Welcome Bulletin Board

This was my "WELCOME" bulletin board last year. I used classified ads from the newspaper as the background and printed each students name and mounted it on black construction paper.
In the middle, it says:
WANTED: 5TH GRADERS
Must Be:
  • Hard Working
  • Fun
  • Ready and Willing to Learn
  • Accepting of others
Of course, you can add your own characteristics that you're looking for in your students.
